Parasitic infestation

Human parasite are organisms taking human as their host and feeding on the food and nutrients you take to survive because they are unable to produce food for themselves. As the host of parasite s, human bodies not only lose a lot of nutrients, provide them a shelter to complete their lifecycle, but also sacrifice health due to the damage of the tissues, cells and the waste made by the parasites.

Malaria

Vector control is the most effective way to prevent malaria and its transmission. Prevention of mosquito bites by distribution of mosquito nets and insect repellents, spraying insecticides inside houses and draining standing water where mosquitoes lay their eggs would be the effective measures to control vectors.

Round worm enter human body when human contacts with infected food and feces and transfers them to the mouth. Skin is also one way of roundworm infection. They are also called ascaris.

Symptoms of Round worm:

Round worm infestation result in symptoms such as loss of appetite, intestinal tract blockage hemorrhage, appendicitis, peritonitis, abscesses in the liver and can even lead to lungs disorder like coughing and wheezing when the round worm larvae migrates to the lung.

Hook worm

The hookworm is a common parasitic worm that lives in the small intestine of human. Human often get infected through skin by larvae rather that the eggs when human walk barefoot through the contaminated areas. When the larvae enter inside human body, they can move from the vascular to the lungs and trachea where they are swallowed and thus enter the digestive system and in the intestine by feeding on your blood.

Symptoms of Hookworm:

There are no specific symptoms for mild hookworm infection. The damage to human body caused by hook worm will be revealed when heavy- intensity hookworms are accumulated. Symptoms of hookworm include iron deficiency anemia, abdominal disorder, loss of appetite, protein deficiency, skin irritation edema, intellectual, cognitive and growth retardation in children and even death.

PIN WORM

Pin worm is a kind of parasites which causes intestinal infection particularly in children with symptoms of anus or vagina itching, digestive disorders insomnia irritability or nervousness. People often get infected through the ingestion of pin worm eggs either from contaminated hand, food, water, or cloths bed linens towels, and furniture.

TAPE WORM

Tape worm is a kind of flat shape and almost 6 inches length parasite, which lives in the digestive tract and absorbs nutrients from the host’s blood. People who get infected with tape worm have the common symptoms of increased appetite, irritability, insomnia, anemia, and sensitivity to light

AMOEBA:

Amoeba infection often occurs through the ingestion of mature cysts in fecal contamination food, water and hands. Patients infected with amoeba get the symptoms of profuse diarrhea with blood and mucus, fever and dehydration. It may also cause ulcers and abscesses where they invade organs like liver and brain.
